Ayodhya remains on high alert following a threat by JeM to blow up the Ram temple.

UTTAR PRADESH (India): Terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed threatened to blow up the Ram temple on Friday, June 14, prompting the city of Ayodhya to declare a state of high alert.

The Maharishi Valmiki Airport is one of the important areas being secured, and extra care is being given there as well as at the Ram temple.

On Friday, SSP Raj Karan Nayyar visited Maharishi Valmiki Airport and assessed the security setup.

Jaish-e-Mohammed has threatened to blow up the Ram temple in an audio message that has gone viral and is menacing.

Security and intelligence measures have been greatly improved in response to this threat.

As a precaution, security has been increased around the Ram Mandir, its nearby approach roads, and other important locations.

The central government has been constantly devising fresh plans for the protection of the Ram temple ever since it was built. Ayodhya’s NSG center has also been suggested by it.

SSP Raj Karan Nayyar, however, denied that the terrorist group posed any threat to the Ram shrine.

He declared that he was unaware of any such audio.

Ayodhya Dham already has strict security, SSP Nayyar told the journalists.

Teams of senior gazetted personnel oversee the several zones into which security arrangements have been divided.

He stated that security guards have already been stationed in a number of locations.

In addition to the District Police, numerous PAC companies have been assigned.

Security protocols at key locations are continuously observed.

CCTV cameras are used to monitor the entire region. Any generated real-time inputs are immediately communicated from the control room to the troops on the ground.
